MISSION
Athletic participation stimulates our athletes to adapt, develop, and enjoy themselves while they use and develop their personal, physical, and intellectual skills. Tsunami values the lessons that have long been taught by athletic participation: the pursuit of excellence through personal development and teamwork, ethical and responsible behavior in and out of the pool, adherence to the spirit of rules as well as to their letter, leadership and strength of character, and sportsmanship – respect for one’s opponents, acceptance of victory with humility, and acknowledgement of defeat with decorum. In teaching these lessons to its athletes, Tsunami instills habits which will matriculate to better and healthier lives. While winning is not an end in itself, we believe that the efforts by our athletes to be their best will lead them to succeed throughout their lives.

Our expectation as a department is to reach the highest level of success in all USAWP measures in each age group. Striving to achieve the highest capability of all our athletes, in and out of the water. To create an environment in which our total program reflects upon the quality of athletes, coaching and resources provided.
As stated previously in the mission statement, success for our club means excellence in and out of the pool. Therefore, RTWPC’s vision is to be among the top organizations in athletic achievement as well in social and academic measures through healthy practice habits, humility, loyalty, honor, and respect.
