     Coach Womack began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Yucaipa High School in the summer of 2016.  Coach Womack was named head coach following a very successful first season, culminating with Yucaipa High School’s first CIF Finals appearance.  Coach Womack continued as head coach for Yucaipa High School from 2017 through the 2021 season.  Coach Womack also coached for Thunderbird Water Polo Club from 2016 to 2021, leading the Thunderbird 16u team to a gold medal in the 2019 Junior Olympics Tournament.

     As a player, Coach Womack played 4 varsity seasons on the water polo team and 3 varsity seasons on the swim team at Redlands East Valley High School.  During his high school career, Coach Womack was a member of 2 league championship teams.  Womack was team captain as a junior and senior and the only 4-year letterman in the class of 2012.  Womack was honored as the Citrus Belt League MVP for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, 1st Team All-CIF in 2010 and 2011, 2nd Team All-CIF in 2009, and 1st Team All-CBL in 2009, 2010, and 2011.  Womack was also selected as the male winner of the Ken Hubbs Award for REVHS in 2012, Citrus Belt Athletics Association Player of the Year in 2012, REVHS Male Athlete of the Year for the class of 2012, and was a member of the USA Junior National top 40 selection team in 2012.  Coach Womack played 2 seasons at the United States Air Force Academy where he was a member of the 2012 WWPA Conference Champion team and finished 4th in the 2012 NCAA National Championships. 

 

     Womack transferred to UC Irvine where he played from 2014-2015.  Coach Womack then transferred to California Baptist University where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.  Coach Womack later returned to CBU for graduate school where he earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology.  He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.
